Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dictation Doggy apps and website at dictationdoggy.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Dictation Doggy turns your speech into text on your devices, with features such as a custom dictionary, styles, and history. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

You sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to: misuse, disrupt, or overload the Service; attempt to access it in unauthorised ways; reverse-engineer or resell it; or use it to process content you have no right to. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your content

You own the audio you dictate and the transcripts you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to provide the Service (for example, to transcribe, sync, and store it as described in our Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

Plans, billing, and trials

Some features require a paid subscription. Paid plans renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. You can manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription from the Plan & Billing page (or, for in-app purchases, through Apple/Google). Purchases made through Apple or Google are also subject to their terms and refund policies.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Dictation Doggy and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to the Service beyond the licence to use it.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Transcription is automated and may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dictation Doggy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the Service or comply with law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any disputes, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
